Vienna. The First Encounter with a Grand City
Vienna has much to offer, historically, culturally, gastronomically. And yet at the first encounter will we see that, with what we beginn to see to enjoy.
We enter the city from outside and so will be beginn outside of Vienna of the 19-th century. That time Vienna was surrounded by the fortification walls. Once removed, the first building of the public use built outside of the walls was the Opera House. So, we meet there and begin our jorney through the historical center of the city starting by the Vienna Opera House. We will walk through the Emperors park, as well as through the emperial residence Hofburg. Then will see why in Austria do we have the Spanish Ridung School. Great emperors and common people, this is Vienna. Thus will we see bothe the emperial scqures, as well as the side streets, exploring this great city to see how it was and what it is nowadays. We will complete out tour by the cathedral of St. Steven, Stephansdom and will learn in its context both about te ancient Romans, as well as about the founders of Austria and Vienna, the Babengers from Bavaria, and certainly about the Habsburgs, who have reached the historical hights and yet had to leave their place for the republic. This will be our first encounter with this great city to explore more on the other tours.
